Highlights of 2023

As 2023 comes to a close, it is time to reflect on a year filled with incredible experiences and unforgettable moments. Apologies for the hiatus in my travel diary about Japan and the recent inactivity – I have been on a whirlwind adventure, exploring new places during the past few month.

The year kicked off with a breathtaking snow hike with my family. Adding to the list of memorable moments, one standout experience was the delightful cafe hopping adventure in Lucerne and the afternoon tea at the recently opened Mandarin Oriental. The summer brought a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. From concerts featuring icons like 50 Cent and Avril Lavigne to immersive events like Fantasy Basel and the Gaming Hotel. Each moment added a vibrant chapter to the story of 2023.

Taking a break from the hustle and bustle, I embarked on a detox journey with my working colleagues with LiveFresh, recharging both body and mind. The experience was rejuvenating, creating lasting bonds and shared memories :) Exploring new beauty horizons, I ventured into lash lifting and discovered the wonders of Medicube, a Korean beauty tool that revolutionized my skincare routine. I am thrilled with the amazing results so far and I can’t wait to keep using this new beauty routine!

Another highlight was the visit to Wakara, a Japanese shop, where I found my favorite drinks (Horoyoi & Gogo no Kocha Lemon Tea, hehe)! A small yet significant detail that added joy to my everyday life. Speaking of which, 2023 took me on an enchanting journey through Japan to visit family, followed by a memorable trip to Prague with my BFF and a maiden voyage to South Korea. The adventures continued with a visit to Universal Studios in Los Angeles and the eagerly awaited BlizzCon event. Finally, the year concluded with a dream come true – a Christmas pre-celebration in New York, marking the perfect end to a year filled with exploration and discovery.

Reflecting on 2023, I’m thankful for the amazing experiences. Here’s to a new year, more adventures and always chasing joy and fulfillment. Cheers to the memories of 2023 and the excitement for what’s to come!
