The older you get, the faster time passes, right? I still cannot believe that we reached 2022 already. New year, new start – and hopefully we can soon say goodbye to COVID-19. The pandemic still chased us throughout the year, mutating into Delta and now as Omicron all over the world. Travelling was still difficult in 2021, however I finally managed to do the Crash Landing on You movie location trip in Switzerland and I had some quality time with my BF in Andermatt at the famous Chedi hotel. I never believed that I could escape Switzerland, but could compensate our bad summer in Fuerteventura on the Canary Islands right on time before the virus got active again. What else to say about 2021 – right, I turned 30 years old, which was a pure nightmare for me, but at the same time I was very grateful for all the love and wonderful words that I received on my birthday. My summer was filled with lots of happy memories, from BBQ parties with my precious friends to wedding days, family time and concerts – it almost felt like the coronavirus had never existed. I literally spend a lot of money on food again, ahaha! How about you? There were not only happy moments, there is also a sad story that I have to tell you. Our sweet furfriend James passed away due to a car accident. I miss him so badly, but I am sure he will be in good hands with Hana and having a great time in pet heaven. As the old life goes out the new comes in – my sister got a new family member. A smokey maincoon mix called Bruce and you will not believe it, but he is truly the reincarnation of James. He begs for food, has this goofy look and is lazy. Sometimes he is a bit more aggressive than James was, but he is still a wonderful addition to our family. The past year was a difficult episode for everyone, but let us be grateful for all the wonderful memories, for all people who make us happy and most importantly that we are alive. Let’s try to make the best of it and start the day with a smile. Take care of yourselves and thank you for everything! I wish you everyone a Happy New Year, bursting with fulfilling and exciting opportunities!
