The Jinpukaku (仁風閣) is a Western-style French Renaissance style mansion in Tottori. It is one of the famous buildings during the Meiji-period. Nowadays, it can be visited by the public and became kind of a little museum. The location is not only popular because of its beauty or the cherry blossoms around this area, but also because of the live act movie Rurouni Kenshin, which has been filmed there in 2011. I didn’t even realise it, until my mother told me that. If you have seen part one, you may remember the fight scene and where the “bad ones” threw money from a window. I found a nice video of it on Youtube, so you can have a look at the end of this post.
