Explore the Underwater World at the Vancouver Aquarium

One of my favourite part at the zoo is the aquarium! I always loved to explore the underwater world since I was a kid and I try to visit aquariums abroad, if I have the chance to. We don’t have any good or big aquarium here in Switzerland (expect the special one called AQUATIS in Lausanne), so I enjoy them even more. The Vancouver Aquarium is located in Stanley Park and has different “galleries” like the Penguin Point, the Wild Coast, Tropic Zone, Amazon Rainforest, Frogs Gallery, Canaccord Exploration Gallery and many many more. You can find dolphins, super cute sea otters, reef sharks, sea turtles, amphibians, jelly fishes and even touch rays at the exploring touch pool, which was really cool! There is fascinating fun for all ages. It was not a cheap ticket, but it was an enjoyable visit.

Please note that the Vancouver Aquarium is temporarily closed at the moment because of the corona virus.
