Camelie Locarno

Hello my beautiful flowers!

Another random floral post about my day trip in Locarno. As you know, I love to travel with my little Mokeke monsters and for this time we decided to visit the Camellia exhibition in Locarno. The exhibition was from 22 to 26 March 2017. Thanks to the special offer from SBB (the national railway company of Switzerland), we could get the tickets with a discount of 20%. They have lots of other (seasonal) events, so do not hesitate to check out sbb.ch for special offers. I remember that the weather was nice and warm. We arrived around lunch time so we first took a break at an Italian restaurant. I had spaghetti Carbonara – it was soo delicious! From the restaurant (it was in the old town of Locarno) it wasn’t that far away from the exhibition. We first enjoyed the exhibition at the Castello Visconteo and then walked to the Camelia park (Parco delle Camelie). We reached the park within 25 minutes by foot. The park was full of beautiful camellias in all kind of shapes and colours. I felt like being in the Queen’s croquet-ground from Alice in Wonderland (*´∀`*)

My outfit Off to Locarno! My beloved cherry blossom shoes ♡
