I can’t believe it is the end of this year already! And with that comes a new day, a new chance, a new choice, a new beginning, a new YOU! Here comes a quick summary of my highlights in 2022, before we continue with my travel diary about Japan. Well yes, Japan was definitely one of my absolute highlight this year! Not only because I visited it twice – I could finally meet my family over there after three years thanks to the less complicated covid restrictions. It is nice to see, that the world is slowly living with the pandemic, we still need to be cautious, but I am happy that we are able to travel again. I did not explore many new places this year, but enjoyed the city trip to Munich with my sister and of course all the dates and small trips in Switzerland whether with my bf, my precious friends or family. I had a reunion with my friend from Singapore and a nice sightseeing trip around Lucerne. We went hiking on Mount Pilatus and Burgenstock with a Spanish friend of my sister. After a long covid-break I had a blast at the Fantasy Basel Swiss Comic Convention! I am grateful for all the small events like having food together, going to the cinema, treating ourselves with a nice afternoon tea, celebrating birthday’s together and just for being alive, having a good health (even after I got tested positive for covid) and making the best out of life. I cannot wait to keep exploring and share all these moments with you guys. Thank you so much for sticking around and I wish you a fresh start with renewed energy and confidence throughout the New Year!
