After the cat café, we went to my favourite café in Zurich – Miyuko! Sara Hochuli and Dominik Grenzler opened this wonderful café back in spring 2011, also know as “Les Gourmandises de Miyuko”. My first time there was in the same year with my sweet Lolita friends (it was one of my first meetups with afternoon tea!). I cannot believe that this is already more than 10 years ago! This year on January 5, 2022 they moved from Beckenhofstrasse 7 to a new location at Bärengasse 20 (JULL Junges Literaturlabor). The house and vintage styled interior matched so well to their image even though the design remain unchanged. Dominik was working when we visited the café and spoiled us with cake and coffee. I went for a Matcha Latte and a Yuzu Matcha Cake. The café brings back so many memories – I hope I can visit it soon again!
