Kawaii Monster Cafe Harajuku

The craziest cafe in Harajuku is definitely the Kawaii Monster Cafe! The Monster Cafe opened not that long ago and I was very excited when I heard that it has been inspired by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, one of my favourite Japanese singer. The cafe is truly as crazy as her! The Monster Cafe is very near from the Laforet department store and just 5 minutes by foot from Harajuku station (when the street is not crowded). I don’t know how busy the cafe is now, but to be on the safe side, we made a reservation for lunch. When you visit the cafe, you enter a big door and the first thing that you will see is a sparkling merry-go-round cake. The interior is amazing, I really enjoyed the different areas, where you can have your meal. The food is fancy and so colourful, it was almost too good to eat! In the cafe you can meet different monster girls and take pictures with them. During a certain time, they even organize a monster show for you, so watch out for it and don’t leave the cafe too early, otherwise you will miss a monstertastic show!
