I really enjoyed this post as I just visited these sites not too long ago too!!! I think you had much better weather though as there seems to be more flowers blooming in your photos! Did you stay in Takayama or nearby? And did the yakiniku dinner include hida beef? My favorite photo is of the one where you’re looking out into the garden.
Yeah the weather was very nice then! We stayed in Takayama for one day. And yes, we ate hida beef. It was soooo goood!
