Arashi Time

Here comes my promised post about Arashi and my precious CD collection! How did I become a fan? Everything started with the J-Drama called 花より男子♥Hana Yori Dango (also known as Boys Over Flower) which was released on TV in 2005. The film is about a poor student Makino Tsukushi (Inoue Mao) who enters an elite high school where she meets a group of four young handsome rich boys. While her school year she encounters difficult situations and various problems but for her it’s also a beginning of a romantic love story.

Now, back to the question; when I started watching the series I quickly “fell in love” with the two actors Matsumoto Jun and Oguri Shun. I have been informed by my Mum that Matsumoto Jun is a member of a Japanese boy band Arashi (it literally means storm) and that the opening song of 花より男子 is from them too. Without hesitation, I started to listen to Arashi, bought their CDs and also the Soundtrack of the J-Drama. Well, that’s not all! The song Planetarium from Otsuka Ai大塚 愛 was used as the image song of Hana Yori Dango so I additionally bought her CD too.

By the way, my interest in J-Dramas, J-Music and J-Movies grew from 2005 onwards!
