When I visit London, I don’t go home until I had at least an Afternoon Tea! The UK is well known for their English treats and tea times and you can find a lot of great restaurants, hotels or cafes, which serve the traditional English High Tea. The decision is always super hard, but I finally decided to go for Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium – where you can have Afternoon Tea WITH the cats! I am quite used to cat cafés because of Japan (they love animal cafe!), but I never saw one that serves Afternoon Tea. What could be better than sweet and savory treats at a cat cafe? From our apartment (Union Street Borough) we took the Bus (35) to Shoreditch High Street Station. The café was easy to find and we arrived on time at the reserved booking time (make sure to book your afternoon tea online in advance!). We got a table in the “underground”, which reminded me somehow of Alice’s Wonderland. The afternoon treats were super yummy and we had plenty of time to play and pet all the cute fur monsters! The cafe is every cats dream, it had such a cute wonderland theme and I totally recommend going here for cozy cat love and good tea – it was a really purrfect experience ^_^!
