I never thought that we could get bored in London! Nevertheless we had a “calm phase” where we went run out of ideas. It might be also because of the weather, it was a bit gloomy and we were not in a mood to hang outside or in the parks. So we googled after “things to do in London” and we found a board game cafe, which sounded very fun! Cake and game – who would say no to this? We all love classic games and so we decided to go to this cafe and it was a great idea. There are actually two of the cafes – we went to the one in Hackney (the other one is in Waterloo). They had more than hundreds, maybe thousands of games at the cafe and you could order savory or sweet snacks. We had a funny time, but I also should mention, that you only should go, if your English is good. Some of my friends didn’t understand any English, so it was difficult to choose the right game, because most of them are in English. Well, it is not impossible, there are still some global known games like UNO or other kids’ games, which anyone can play without knowing the language. Anyway, I just wanted to mention this, because the choice of games will become smaller. At the end, everyone of my friends enjoyed the afternoon with funny games, delicious cakes and coffee.
