Haaii Sweeties!
My beautiful Japanese friend just arrived in Switzerland yesterday! We met each other one year ago in Tokyo (I did not post my travel diary yet (ノ_<。) I am so sorry guys – going to post it soon, promise!) and I was so happy to hear that she will stay some days before heading back to Japan. So we met today for a girls meet-up in Lucerne. I suggested her to visit the Aeschbach Chocolatier in Root D4, which is about 10 minutes by train from Lucerne main station. The chocolate factory has a small chocolate museum, shop and restaurant. The entry fee for the Chocoworld museum costs 15 CHF (~14 €/15 US $) for an adult person, but since you get a 5 CHF voucher – which can be used at the cafe or chocolate shop – it is actually only 10 CHF. We had the whole museum (and all the chocolate :D) for ourselves. You could observe the chocolatiers, learn about the history and production of chocolate and taste some of the delicious treats for free.
