Actually I wanted to do some real American Cookies but we hadn’t any brown sugar at home! I mixed some ingredients together, which we had at home and this was the final result: normal, boring Cookies à la Miho… (nothing special)…
Never mind! I am going to tell you anyhow the recipe. Cookies are so easy!
For “standard” Cookies you need:
1 package of vanilla sugar
0.5 teaspoon of Natron
125g chopped almonds
1 teaspoon of baking powder
Mix all the ingredients together and knead the dough.
I put half of the dough into an other bowl and continued to make some chocolate Cookies.
For Chocolate Cookies I added:
150g chocolate (melt it in a bain-marie before adding)
25 g black cocoa powder
100g chopped almond
oven baking temperature: 180 C°
baking time: ~15min
In my opinion you can use the half of each ingredient and you still have enough Cookies. I had more than enough at the end so I was very glad that I have my family and friends who help me eat them!
Caution!! Give your Cookies enough space (don’t use this picture as a example) otherwise you have some square Cookies. (My first try failed!)
