Mame Shiba Cafe Harajuku | Fluff, Fun and Furry Friends!

Hey everyone! I am finally back from my incredible journey in Japan and I cannot wait to share all the amazing experiences I had there. But before we dive into it, let’s take a trip down memory lane and relive some of my favorite moments from previous trips (throwback to 2019 before the pandemic started – I cannot believe that it has already been four years!).

I went to Japan with my sister and before we went back home, we had some fun days in Tokyo. While leisurely walking down Takeshita Street in Harajuku, we spontaneously decided to pay a visit to the Shiba Inu (Mame Shiba) Cafe. Online reservation is not possible, so you have to buy a ticket first. A staff will let you know the entry time (we arrived at 11:10 and received the next slot at 11:30). The room may have been small, but it was overflowing with adorable Shibas. I appreciated that the entry fee included free drinks! Although the time limit was set at 30 minutes, it was just enough for me to soak in the joy and cuteness of these furry companions. If you are in need of a brief shopping break, the cafe is the perfect place to unwind and recharge.

Stay tuned for more updates as I take you on a virtual journey through the land of the rising sun soon!
