Moomin House Cafe – Tokyo Solamachi

Japanese people always had an affection for the cute chubby trolls: Moomin! Japan has a lot of Moomin fans, that is also the reason why you can buy merchandise or even visit themed cafés of this Finnish cartoon. We used to watch Moomin a lot during our childhood – my Mum love them so much and even her sister is obsessed with Moomin characters (especially with Little My). There are many many Moomin Cafés all round Japan and I have already visited one at the Tokyo Dome area when I was in Japan during spring time. My favourite part of the Moomin Cafés is not just only the cute food and beverage, it is more the cute experience that a Moomin Plush doll comes and visit you at your seat. So even if you are having food on your own, you are literally not alone, since Moomin & Co. will have lunch with you. The Moomin Café that I am going to show you today is about the one at Tokyo Solamachi, a large shopping center just next to the Tokyo Skytree. We were looking for a dining option when we visited the Tokyo Skytree and we randomly passed by the Moomin Café. Almost any themed café in Japan is a little expensive than ordinary cafés or restaurants, but they are worth heading to, if you are looking for an extraordinary culinary experience.
