There was another Lolita meetup some weeks ago! Dear Makipata organized one in the beautiful city Lucerne. Summer meetups sometimes can be a pain – especially when it is super hot and you are wearing multiple layers. Anyhow, the temperature was just perfect and it wasn’t even raining. We met up in front of the train station to first enjoy a heavenly 1h boat cruise with the Saphir on Lake Lucerne. The fresh breeze and the surrounding nature was extremely relaxing. Later on, we moved forward to the old town to have afternoon tea at the Queen Camellia Tea House. You can enjoy a delicious vegetarian afternoon tea with all kinds of sweet and savory delights for 35.- CHF. The tea house has a big variety of teas and for the afternoon tea we could choose up to three pots (for two persons). Since it was all vegetarian, it was a different kind of afternoon tea than I had so far, but everything was very good (almost the best one that I had!). My favourite treat was the bite-sized scones and the orange marmalade! It was my first afternoon tea in Lucerne – but definitely not the last one. We don’t have many tea rooms in Lucerne, but the Queen Camellia Tea House is definitely a good choice! We stayed until the tea room closed and before we all said goodbye, we passed the Chapel Bridge and did a group photo just next to the Jesuit Church. Thank you one more time to Makipata for all the great organization and thank you to all dolls, who joined the meetup. I always enjoy our time together!
