I guess most of you had already heard about these sweet temptations from New York; Cronuts – the croissant-donut hybrid made by Dominique Ansel. In Switzerland you can buy them at some Migros supermarkets. You can have Cronut covered with sugar, filled with raspberry jam, yoghurt, chocolate or cream. I ended up buying the first two sweeties. The one with sugar was quite good, but the one with raspberry was a dangerous sugar bomb. It reminded me of the German pastry called Berliner. It had the same taste but while baking they probably miscalculated the amount of sugar… I hope I will not get diabetes! >o<
